PCS students actively participate
in a myriad of ministry projects every school year. Here
is a current list of projects our students are involved in:
Food Bank: PCS students
participate in class field trips to serve the local food bank
by sorting canned goods to be given away during the Christmas season
and other times of the year.
Providence Christian School
Kids Can! Food drive: PCS students help
feed hungry families in our community by collecting non-pershable
food items for the Kids Can! program.
Toys for
the Troops' Kids: PCS students collect new toys for the children of
the servicemen and women this organization serves. Toys for
the Troops' Kids provides Christmastime toys to the children of overseas-deployed
American military members and armed forces personnel killed in action
since '911'.
Letters to the Troops: PCS
students send letters of thanks and encouragement to military personnel
through the Indian Rock Ranch/Trees for Troops organization.
Haiti Relief Fund: In collaboration with American Association
of Christian Schools and Crossworld Missions, PCS will be providing
love offerings for believers in Haiti who have been affected by January's
catastrophic earthquake. Please see the Ministry Opportunity
letter from Administrator Gail Gilbertson for details and information
on how to help our brothers and sisters in Haiti.
